 Rudie Classic - BIO
When it come to reggae music, Rudie Classic is the real deal.
he is a multi-talented all round Entertainer and one of the most popular characters on the reggae circuit, Besides being a gifted reggae artist who has a knack for delvering first class-stage proformances, Rudie is also know as a dancer, club promoter and has several singles presently bubbling on community radio stations across the country.
Born and raised in kingston jamaica, he gained his musiccal tutorage by performing alongside reggae luminaries such as, Sean Paul, Bounty Killer, Beenie man, Vybz Kartell, and countless others. Having written his first song at the age of 12, he made his debut a short while after, performing and winning a local talent contest.
After relocating to england in the mid 90s, he took is musical career one step further and recorded his first song called - hey mammy, his debut for London-based record label x-Con entertainment in 1998 in jamaica, Around the same time he began proforming as a warm-up act for some of jamaica`s most popular entertainers during the British legs of their European tours.
In 1999 he added another string to his bow by becoming one of England`s best-known night-club promoter. In 2005 his ground breaking entrepreneurial sprit was confirmed with the production of (UK Sting) A British version of jamaica`s best-known longest running annual concert. The show proved to be extremely popular with British reggae fans and Rudie is now preparing for the 4th instalment.
in 2002 he also starred in a play at the stratford royal theater called the (Running Man) also starred in anti-violence documentary for MTV IN 2005.
Rudie Classic, aka dancer, promoter, song rightter, actor, margler, raver, and also a dancehall fan With so manny gifts and talent, rudie classic is destined to be a star of the future.
