The Mavrix is a South African based acoustic folk/jazz band. We write and compose our own music.
The band was started by Jeremy Karodia and Ayub Mayet some years ago. In 2003 we brought in 3 more live musicians playing violin,santoor and tabla to accompany Jeremy's guitar and Ayub's vocals.
The album also features other South African musicians who played as session artists on the album.
