 When he was two years old, he saw a guitar for the first time, in a toy-store. He knew he just “ had ” to have it. So his parents bought it to him as a Christmas present. Later the same year as time progressed the guitar was to become his companion wherever he went!
Once he was 3 years old, he invited the whole neighbourhood, to join a concert in his home garden.
He later grew up, listening to Blues and Rock, like Deep purple, Delbert McClinton and Thin Lizzy.
When he reached the age of seven, he got his first guitar, and he asked his father to teach him his first cords.
At eight years old, he started on his course, guitar in hand and had his first official concert at Olsvik, in his Home town outside Bergen, Norway. Then one year later, he went to his first private lesson with the well known Norwegian guitar player Mads Eriksen. There he was to learn the name and the music of Stevie Ray Vaughan, and his
“Mary had a little lam”
As he turned ten years old, he and one of his young friends, went as street-musicians to the main square and marketplaces in the city, and they played for local crowds, tourists and the workers for the marked.
This performance got the young guys a lot of attention. Both the radio and TV took notice of them as well. It was through these performances that he could now afford to by his first real electric guitar, a Fender Stratocaster.
Fredrik has always had a good ear for music. He also innate understanding for music.
He always made a dash to the speakers whenever he heard something interesting that might advance his ability or understanding
