Ôxe’s sound references come from many different sources. The band is always adding it’s trademarked upbeat and high energy, that come from Ôxe’s roots in Northeastern Brazilian percussion, into rithms like pop, reggae and rock, which comes to prove that it is possible to use tradicional folkloric sounds and at play in the Rock scene.

Album released in the BLEN BLEN club in São Paulo on June 1st, 2005 and FNAC Pinheiros on September 29, 2005 with 3000 copies sold.
Ôxe is one of the most sucessful rock bands in the Brazilian State of Alagoas, and has been very well accepted by the public of other States. The band showed an incredible sinergy with its public in Rock Festivals like Surto na Comunicação – PUC/BH; Escalada do Rock (2000); Balaio Brasil – Sesc/SP (2001) and many others.
Settled in São Paulo since 2003, Ôxe participates in many important cultural events all over Brazil like: FNAC/RIO;FNAC/Pinheiros; FNAC/Campinas; Siciliano Livros e Discos/Campinas; Sesc/DF; FIESP – Urban Sounds Project; Culture and Art Fair of Pompéia/SP; Galpão Busca Vida in Bragança Paulista; Bar da Montanha in Limeira/SP; Na mata Café – Vila Olímpia;Sesc/Piracicaba; Sesc/Campinas; Cooperativa Brasil/Campinas; Festa do Pilar and many others. The band also participated with two songs in the soundtrack of “Deus é Brasileiro” a major feature film directed by Carlos Diegues and released nationwide. Recently Ôxe is working in its second album with Fernando Nunes, the well known bass player of many music stars in Brazil.
