 Fernando Garcia "Dr Nando" was born in Luanda, the good capital city of Angola, southern Africa. The first born in a total of 6 brothers, family have always been his source of strength and courage. In most of his teen-age, Dr Nando took his time to master what he believed to be his vocation, to become a singer. Time after time he caught himself watching video clips on MTV, reading articles in magazines and newspapers regarding music & showbiz, listening tireless for his favorites songs performed by the renamed artist: Gabriel, o Pensador (Most prominent Brazilian rapper). Out of this "dreaming big" atmosphere, Dr nando began his persuit to achieve his primary goal: Release his first single, Revolution, followed by the album also called, Revolution.
Following his graduation at I.M.S. (Luanda), in the summer of 1999, Dr Nando migrated to Switzerland where continued his studying, this time in Music Arts. Took on board several opportunities to work in collaboration with friends and singers, delivering sensible and educational lyrics in Rap and Kizomba style music.
Because of his concerns about children living in poor condition in some third world countries, Dr Nando is also known as "Ambassador of Peace". He always stands for any campaign driven towards children. For this cause, Dr Nando has been performing in Street Shows & Night Clubs fighting for this cause in Switzerland, France as well as United Kingdom, where he is currently living.
By releasing his first Single, he aims to bring forward a message of Peace & Love. |
