Remnants of Isadore is an Alt-Country / Rock band that blends the vocal styles of Phish and the Grateful Dead with a commercial spice that brings a fresh and memorable country sound. The self-titled CD is focused around the song-writing of bass player Ernie Arroyo and includes an all-star cast of some of Cleveland’s finest musicians. From the rocking Fiddle playing of Daniel Gale in the opening song “Edge of the Cumberland” to the smooth pedal steel sounds by Jerry Brightman (Buck Owens and the Buckaroo’s) in the song “Because of You.” From the Bluesy Hammond Organ feel of Mark Leach (The Buddy Miles Express) in the song “Georgia Moon” to the Jerry Garcia type bluegrass tune “Still Hoping” that features John Ryan on Mandolin and Paul Baker (Brigids Cross) on Fiddle. This CD encompasses an explosion of instrumentation around lyrical imagery that is pure entertainment from beginning to end.
